SWF Seeks Cute Faerie Home.

I can't resist.

I have come across so many quaint little homes in my travels....I must have one!!!  Some are simple, some are elaborate....like Goldilocks I'm looking for one that's JUST right.

Is it crazy to purchase a home so soon after coming into existence?  To put down roots when I've barely gotten used to my wings?  I do enjoy having my own little place to organize myself and have a bit of privacy.  I've got my eye on a treehouse that is currently rented  with "less than a day remaining".   If you are the owner of this little house and you've noticed a sweet, redheaded faerie loitering outside of your home....it's me!  Are you staying?  Are you going?  Can I move in?

The price is right and I think I have worked out the math and it will be cheaper to rent that to buy.  It makes my faerie head hurt to think about it. I just want to decorate it with all the fancy trinkets I've found!!!

WOW.  I've just stumbled across another one with it's own private cave!!!  The walls are all transparent from the inside...waterfalls and mediation pillows....*dreamy sigh*  It's twice my budget.  *deflated sigh*  Awww it's in the most beautiful neighborhood with lifesized checkerboards!

I don't understand why it is frowned upon to cross SIMS?  On one hand there are beautiful bridges leading from one place to another but they have big "do not enter" signs posted upon them.  And then there are some places where you literally cannot go any further.  What is the difference?

Oooo I think I may have just found another one.  It's so hard to decide!!!

Stay tuned!

Blessings,

Moirae

Happy 4th Week Birthday to Me!

I can't believe all the fun I'm having!  I've met a few kind people (and more than a few of the kinky variation) but mostly I've spent the first 4 weeks of life exploring my surroundings and figuring things out.  I have learned that I am a faerie.  For now.  I have wings, pointed ears and an affection for anything living and beautiful.  Or shiny.  :)

There is so much I want to explore here but for now the forests, grottos and waterfalls I have been playing in feel so safe and well....I can't imagine anything more beautiful.  I have explored a medieval village or two as I love the twinkle of new armour and the scent of herbs drying over mantles however the dress code leaves little to be desired.  Literally!!

Upon my first visit to Avilion I was informed by a very kind human woman that I was not dressed appropriately as she could see my "bikinis".  Having read the dresscode I was aware of the guidelines and was quite proud of my chosen outfit so when I was made aware of my "faux pas" I did the only thing I could think to do -  I ran away!!  What's a fae to do?  I mean I even made my boobies smaller to fit my cute new dress, what do these people want from me?!  I'm going to include a picture of my outfit here so that you all can be the judge:

My second attempt was not any better....I made it through the gates but was stopped when skipping passed the mermaid grotto (of all places) when I receive an IM from the shadows that I was...*ahem*...missing my top!  I believe the woman's name was Tree and she was very nice about things but geeze - talk about making an impression!  I tried to fit in but apparently I am destined to be the trashy pixie of Avilion.  Is that really so bad?

I have found a temporary home at Faekin Hall (30 days free for newborn faeries.  Thank you Julius!) which is friendly and surrounded by the most fun and pretty things a faerie like myself could ever want!  It is known as The Faerie Crossing.  I'd like to stay there beyond my lease but I have to find a home that I can afford.  These golden coins I found in my purse have helped put clothes on my back but beyond that...they won't go far.  They aren't even that shiny.

Apparently there is something called "work" that brings coins for goodies but what kind of good fortune is it if you have to earn it?  And where is the fun in that?  I'd rather play, thank you very much!  There are enough hidden spots for a faery to rest her wings without having a permanent place to hang them.

Hidden doesn't necesarily mean private though,  I learned that the hard way!  Whilst exploring the Elven Forest I climbed up a tree and since I could not see anyone figured it would be a good time to change my top.   Wrong!!  My bag of tricks was so stuffed full of newbie treasures that it took me forever to find what I was looking for.  All of a sudden I get a message - a picture has been sent to me!   Low and behold I open the picture and it's me!  Naked!!  Eek!!!  Even though I was alone in the treetops the walls have eyes and at any point - be aware faerie friends - someone could be watching you!

I could write forever but the leaf I am sitting in is starting to sag and I have more exploring to do!  There is a lot more that I want to write about so stay tuned!!!

Blessings,

Moirae.
