There is so much I want to explore here but for now the forests, grottos and waterfalls I have been playing in feel so safe and well....I can't imagine anything more beautiful. I have explored a medieval village or two as I love the twinkle of new armour and the scent of herbs drying over mantles however the dress code leaves little to be desired. Literally!!
Upon my first visit to Avilion I was informed by a very kind human woman that I was not dressed appropriately as she could see my "bikinis". Having read the dresscode I was aware of the guidelines and was quite proud of my chosen outfit so when I was made aware of my "faux pas" I did the only thing I could think to do - I ran away!! What's a fae to do? I mean I even made my boobies smaller to fit my cute new dress, what do these people want from me?! I'm going to include a picture of my outfit here so that you all can be the judge:
My second attempt was not any better....I made it through the gates but was stopped when skipping passed the mermaid grotto (of all places) when I receive an IM from the shadows that I was...*ahem*...missing my top! I believe the woman's name was Tree and she was very nice about things but geeze - talk about making an impression! I tried to fit in but apparently I am destined to be the trashy pixie of Avilion. Is that really so bad?
I have found a temporary home at Faekin Hall (30 days free for newborn faeries. Thank you Julius!) which is friendly and surrounded by the most fun and pretty things a faerie like myself could ever want! It is known as The Faerie Crossing. I'd like to stay there beyond my lease but I have to find a home that I can afford. These golden coins I found in my purse have helped put clothes on my back but beyond that...they won't go far. They aren't even that shiny.
Apparently there is something called "work" that brings coins for goodies but what kind of good fortune is it if you have to earn it? And where is the fun in that? I'd rather play, thank you very much! There are enough hidden spots for a faery to rest her wings without having a permanent place to hang them.
I could write forever but the leaf I am sitting in is starting to sag and I have more exploring to do! There is a lot more that I want to write about so stay tuned!!!
Blessings,
Moirae.
